I dont want to break the news to you, but weve been in a bear market for 6 months. Ignore the noise you hear on CNBC 80% of all mid and small caps have been hit15-30% especially in technology. The only corection left is for the big boys LU, CSCO, AOL etc that have stupid valuations. I think we have a little more pain to go, but frankly prefer this moving drawnout correction to a 1000 point down day. If we
end the year at 8600 we would still be up for the year and the dow would have had its 8% correction. Even if we go to 8000 the gains for three years are still great. Take into account history shows that you will lose more by being out then, then takinga hit and waiting. There is no way to time markets. I sold many stocks last October, thought I was pretty smart, missed the mini crash. I didnt get back in on time and missed the run to 8400. I think the best aproach is to really understand the companies you have and dont leverage yourself. This way eventially you will make nice returns. The market long term really goes in one direction.
