Andrew: I couldn't agree with you more. My real risk is the loss of additional ROI should AAPL go up regardless of the market trend and/or not being able to identify the bottom to buy back in. I don't believe in timing the market but do rely on the trend as my friend. Since the markets's drop from their highs in June, AAPL has held up excellently and I'm of the belief will fare better than most in any up/down event. One thing is for certain, I believe in AAPL's comeback so much so my portfolio was 100% AAPL, I've made an excellent return and I Will Be Back! Good Investing... ================================ <In other words, Dennis risks being left behind should the market go significantly up with his assets completely in cash. His assessment is that this risk is lower than the risk of downside in stocks, hence his decision. However, his decision still involves taking a risk and is therefore not totally "safe.">
