My calculator says, $153.82 per share.

Some of the other items on the website that I like are:

" With our product,[Basics Plus], we have our place in the sun."

I take it to mean that no matter how many companies put out new products, Lifeway will have their unique product in which to stake out a claim in the emerging 'functional foods' market. Plus they intend to put out some other new functional food products soon.

" Agreements with other Eastern European countries affected by the [Chernobyl] disaster are in the process of being signed and Lifeway has set up a "very good distribution network" in Russia, spurred on by the St. Petersburg Academy of Medicine which recognises its benefits in treating malnutrition and medical problems.

I don't know what the St. Petersburg Academy of Medicine is but I'm sure it's great to have them backing the 'Basics Plus' product.

" Basics Plus was launched in December 1997 on a small scale in selected Chicago stores. Three batches a week are now produced and five flavours are available. Sales are rising constantly. This year will show good results, but it's still in the developmental stages

" The nimble progress of an innovative small company such as Lifeway in the functional foods sector provides an attractive prospect for strategic alliances. "

With the 2 unknown companies plus GalaGen and Quay, Lifeway is collaborating with 4 companies at present and who knows if it will stop there. Lifeway also produces at least 12 products and ships product to at least 4 different countries. Lifeway is covering all bases with multiple partners, products and customers.

" Lifeway believes it offers the largest selection of kefir in the world. "

Looks like Lifeway Foods is the 'blue chip' company of the kefir industry.
