Victor, Amazon is a high-beta stock. Many great stocks, and most young fast-growing high-priced stocks have high betas (higher amplitude of change than the general market). The fact is that Amazon is going down at a slower rate (and on lighter volume) than it went up, and it's going down at a slower rate than it did early in July. So far that's bullish.
