Last sentence: While companies acknowledge ongoing difficulties, none are bailing out of the great race to circle the globe with satellite phone networks. "It continues to be challenging," says Globalstar President Dwyre. "But we do expect to be in service in the second quarter of 1999."

Now, maybe in the second quarter of 1999 means the second financial quarter, but I don't think so. I think it means sometime in March, April or May. Given the way Qualcomm, Globalstar, Iridium seem to handle their predictions, they build in a little bit of leeway. They really cross their fingers and hope. He said it will be challenging.

So, I think it will be at the end of the second quarter, which means the beginning of June if we are lucky. That is mid 99 in my book. Assuming no satellites fall out of the sky and things go pretty much according to plan.
