Howwwwwwwwwdeeeeeeeeee Jan,
Yes, that is a cool feature.
Howbout a little newbie market timing update? I set it up at Message 4829076 and there's been a few subsequent updates. So ----- here's where we are today.
INDEX---5/13/98------8/3/98-----Gain/(Loss) DOW-----9211.84-----8786.74-----(4.61%) S&P------1118.86-----1112.44-----(.57%) NAZ------1866.18-----1851.10-----(.81%)
Did you hear that??? Did you hear that sigh of contentment? That's my hard earned money resting comfortably in a money market --- just waiting.
Waiting --------- for the KING of all broad market indicators to signal the way. The REAL Grand Pupa, Big Kahuna, Top Dog, Head Cheese, Cat's Meow, No. 1 Butt Kicker of all market timing indicator's, the NYSE Bullish Percent Index (NYSEBP) www3.techstocks.com.
No star alignments, waves, hemlines, divergence, R or D in the White House, Super Bowl winners, cow dung throwing or belching contest winners figured here. Just Point and Figure Charts either on a buy or sell signal. Bearish at the top and bullish at the bottom. New folks to P&F, look at the signals this chart provided. Not sure how to read it? These definitions turned out to be OK Message 4397896.
As Tom pointed out today, if the NYSEBP gets down in the 30% area and buy signals start hitting and its short term partners have reversed up then I'm grabbing some reversing up sectors and going for a sweet ride.
Anybody ------ show me a better broad market timing indicator that's as straight ahead and easy to use, and I'll use it.
Take care,
Eric
