"What's that on your dress, Norma?" asked Muffy. "Is that ... is it ... yes, I think so. It's mousse! Good. I ran out. Let me have some." With that innocent comment, Muffy grabs a fist full of the "mousse" that is on Norma/Monica's dress and dabs it into her hair.
[Editor1: Hey! That scene sounds vaguely familiar. Didn't that happen just recently in some movie?]
[Editor2: Yeah. I thought it sounded familiar, too. Where did I see that?]

Muffy spotted the front page of the newspaper laying in the trash bin. Normally, she wouldn't have noticed it at all ... but just seeing something actually in a trash bin in New York was quite a surprise.

Norma/Monica couldn't believe her eyes. Her young compatriot was all excited about going ice skating. Norma accompanied Muffy to Rockefeller Center where there were hundreds of skating enthusiasts enjoying the bright sunny day.

[Editor2: Oh, hush up. We had to get ice there so we could continue with the plan to ... uh ... hmmmm ... I forgot. Come to think of it, what IS the plan?]
[Thread moderator: You guys are screwing up the story. Shut up and let the authors do their thing, will ya'?]
Norma caught a glimpse of one of the male skaters. A tall, dark, strong, handsome fellow. Why, it looked like ... yes! It is! But, what's he doing here? His Himalayan expedition surely couldn't be over already. Could it?
Across the rink, the hunk in question executed a beautiful back-flip, then flashed a wide grin to the onlookers who were applauding like crazy. He skated towards Norma. Their eyes met. Norma blushed. Redheads do that, you know.
"Hi, Norma", he said.
