Viagra Won't Be Covered by German State Health Plans, FAZ Says Bloomberg News August 4, 1998, 2:07 a.m. ET Bonn, Aug. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Pfizer Inc.'s anti-impotence drug won't be covered by German state health insurance, the Frankfurter Allegemeine Zeitung reported, citing a federal committee. Other remedies for impotence also won't be covered any longer, the newspaper said. The committee's decision will become final if German Health Minister Horst Seehofer doesn't oppose it within two months, the FAZ said.
