Craig:

Hate to be a bear [I currently own a long position in SEEK], but...
AOL's earnings are already in the stock..and I would bet the street figures on the 3 or 4 cents over the 19 cents consensus.

Therefore given a stable market and the recent momentum players [who buy on the rumor and sell on the news], we could normally expect a flat day with AOL's earning's release.

However we have terrible breadth and a short term market correction that is still in the midst of playing out. IMO we will therefore see a small decline in AOL even with great earnings and a large decline with consensus or less. SEEK should perform better than AOL over the next week or two. Heaven forbid we get any more news about Lewinsky's dress or Clinton. I am buying puts to hedge over the next 7 days.

SEEK is holding up ok, and as soon as the market runs the correction it will fly again, but we may see 21 first. Don't count on AOL's earnings to boost SEEK tomorrow or the next day.

Good luck and hang tight,

Jeff
