Good Morning Sonny,

Well August traditionally has not been a very good month for stocks and I do not see why this time it will be any different. We have quarterly earnings reports today from both Cisco and Aol and hopefully the results will be good. Yes I did see that Intel is being sued. This seems to be the business of the day or new fad to go after companies that are making money or appear to be a potential threat to some other mom and pop operation that dreams of screwing their way into the big time with the help of big brother or whatever.

It looks like the market lately is turning in a bit of sell off during the last hour. Certainly many stocks are oversold at this point and we should get a dead cat bounce soon. As long as we have fund managers there will be volatility.

I heard that the thirteen winners of the powerball will receive only 7 million dollars after all taxes. I guess that is not too bad but since the total was 161 million it is amazing how little you get after taxes. Oh well I would love to have such a problem so i could go out and buy a new Harley and Synthesizer.

Have a good Tuesday

Frank
