Futures are up right now on Globex. I remember last year when HK was down 4 % like yesterday, it created a carnage on Oct 27. I thought the same thing would occur yesterday. Back then, Sox was so important, and impacted so much by Asia. Nowadays, ASE problems seem to have been factored in. A down day in Asia means so little to Wall Street. DJIA even managed to go to the plus side yesterday, briefly. I see tough time next few weeks perhaps. But by Sept, Naz should see new high again, if no changes occur in economic and political policies. As for October crash and Bear market, let's see if there would be any changes in US economy. Right now, I don't see much of that happening. We are not in a recession like we were back then. Besides, Japan is bound to recover. I am not as intelligent as Chris or many people here. Just from hunches.
