Thats very true Jens but there are many ways to look at it.

Let's say there are 30,000,000 shares outstanding at 10 cents a share. That makes a market cap of $3,000,000.00. Then the company sells enough shares to make the outstanding equal 150,000,000 and the price drops to 2 cents a share, the company is still worth $3,000,000.00 but you only own 1/5th as much of the company as you did before and you need a 500% increase in the share price to be back where you were before.
