I am sure most of you have visited HDIE's web site from which this is taken. Everyone is focused on Cloverleaf right now but keep in mind that EMerge, which came out last fall, is an extraordinary system I am told and will be a huge seller for HDIE.

As the healthcare delivery system evolves towards the Computer-based Patient Record (CPR), it becomes more apparent that information residing in various disparate systems within an enterprise must be retained and accurately linked to a patient. The current trend of mergers and alliances resulting in large Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) has rendered the traditional Master Patient Index (MPI) approach obsolete.
