JAPAN-Returnless saving encourages saving-- WHEREAS higher returns on savings encourages spending. On a seperate note Raj- on your socio- structural issue I would like to highlight an observation, I see Japanese bee lining in this new LMVH store on confluence of Champs and George 5, I always think I wish they would spend with similar vigour back home = Good for the markets.

I think it is more to do about simple living also, Japanese have comparatively live within their means and within themselves they do not believe in credit.
