We the people do not determine the job as it progresses. We elect representatives to pass legislation. We vote to ratify the constitution and its amendments. But we DON'T base the president's job duties on some kind of poll. We have not said "we don't mind", and it makes no difference if we did. If he broke the law, he'll be dealt with as a law breaker. We the people have implemented laws that must be abided by everyone including the president. Why is it so difficult for you to understand this principle?
