As far as I know MUEI does not give special treatment to MU when it
comes to buying parts like chips. They buy chips from Japanese or
Taiwanese if they are cheaper for the same quality. MUEI has to have
variety pcs to meet everybody's needs. Cheap and high quality ones
for low and high end pcs. It's not fair few folks always claim that
MUEI buys MU chips at high price without proof.
