Ongoing R&D A team of 12 staff continues to refine the product and its operating systems. A new, cost-down (and dramatically smaller) product, code-named F3, is now in beta release. This product will address the emerging markets of EFTPOS and ATM terminals, as well as home-based and personal PC access.
Flexible Manufacturing Planning A close relationship with Fujitsu has been instrumental in coping with flexible growth. As of early 1997, manufacturing is now divided between Fujitsu and Datacraft (who also have advanced, ISO9000-rated production facilities in Australia). This policy gives greater flexibility to our delivery programs, and provides redundancy, should one manufacturer encounter a major problem which could halt production.
