I just called the company and talked to Jim Langrill very briefly. In regards to the financing, he said he had just gotten off the phone with the attorney and was just waiting for the final ok on the deal. He said that he hoped it would be this week and that once it had closed there would be announcement regarding the specifics of the deal and what it would mean in terms of operations for the company. On the surface, this seems encouraging; however, I have heard this a few times before (however, it was usually a couple of weeks away instead of a couple of days, so all in all maybe it is a good sign).

I also told him that I had heard rumors that the company may be sold in its entirety to one of the prospective financiers. His comments were 1) there are too many rumors going around, and 2) he could not comment on it until he got the final word from the attorney. It seems to me he would have flat out denied it if it wasn't at least a possibility, but he did not give any indication that it was one of the options being considered.I had several other questions, but he did not seem to be able to go into the specifics of the deal so I didn't pursue them.

He also said he thought the increased activity in the stock was fueled by speculation, but that is pretty apparent considering there hasn't been any news releases.

So how does this information compare to what you have been told?
