Andrew: The technology in terms of wavelengths being used and the weight of the gadget are now entering the flat part of the exponential curve. In brief, the biggest strides are now history. If you disagree, do let us know what are the technological break-outs you envisage. Henceforth, productivity in manufacture will likely become an absolute essential. Because of this, consolidation is inevitable. The fact that COHR"s Medical Div. lost its market share indicates it is facing severe competition. Unfortunately, the Street does not share your view of COHR and continues to erode its share value. IMO the build up of shareholder value will be fastest if they put their assets on the block without wasting more time and resources.
