The trouble with rodenticide is that if it works on moles, it works on kids. If you can be sure the kids won't get into the mole bait - you might try it. You don't have a king snake handy, do you? I know - guacamole!

I saw a device once in a catalog. It was an electronic spike that pumped a high-pitched sound into the soil. Repelled moles. Honest or hype, I don't know.

Maybe you can kill two birds with one stone here. Tell your youngsters moles have chocolate centers. They'll do the job for you.
