Are you suggesting that heating the mixture is a SOLV innovation? If so, I suggest that you check the earlier patent literature, including the prior art cited in SOLV's patents. It isn't exactly a new idea.

This "new" process would have to be close to SOLV's to make an infringement case a good bet. Although there are clearly some similarities, the process as a whole sounds rather different to me. Just a preliminary opinion -- I haven't compared the two in detail.
