The bale of hay is Awfully Comfortable, especially after a late evening at the office. After a pang of hunger, Elizabeth wished she had grabbed the bag of doughnuts before leaping into the past like this.

Elizabeth rolled off the hay bale, and stood in the green pasture near the footprints.

"I guess I should follow these," she said. "At least then I will have a goal, and with the lack of negative outcome I experienced jumping out that window ( all that just to get away from that creepy Fred!), I bet that even a dragon couldn't do me any harm!"

So Elizabeth went forward, walking on the left side of the prints so as not to obscure them for anyone else.
