Noblesse...
First, I share your amazement that the company does not allow free access to the call. I had been lobbying for them to make the call available on tape to shareholders who wanted to listen very soon afterward on an 800-number, something that many small companies provide. Mark Trinske told me that this would be too expensive ("It could cost up to a thousand dollars!") Did you, by any chance see the movie Austin Powers? When I suggested that this was not a huge expense, he suggested that I pay for it. I told him I had already paid my dues by putting faith in Simula management that has so far not rewarded us.
Three questions for you: First, proponents of the curtain have mentioned that it would provide protection from flying glass? Is this a drawback for ITS? Second: The Economist reports that BMW and Fiat are in high level talks about merging or forming an alliance. Also there is talk about VW (presumably a SMU customer) looking for partners. Do these and other consolidations in the auto industry portend anything for SMU? Third, is SMU shipping yet for any car other than BMW and, if so, when would it be likely that we would learn which one? Thanks in advance and thanks for all your helpful info, insights and good humor in the past. Also, thanks to Jaime, Francois and others for keeping this a very high quality board.
