IMHO business is war. I agree that Intel should do whatever it can to maximize shareholder value -- but within the bounds of anti-trust law and while practicing reasonable business ethics (all is not fair even in war, as noted by the Geneva convention). Intel may well increase shareholder value by running AMD out of business. But, there is always Cyrix and others waiting in the wings.
