Hi Jim, Well, I didn't buy ALL the shares sold today, but I again nibbled around the edges. Significant buys now rate only a small percentage addition to my account. Today's buys added about 15% to my holding at $12-15/16. Our columnist wasn't saying very nice things about this stock. The last thing a company needs is its time diluted by litigation by disgruntled shareholders or any one else, for that matter. One of the reasons that I chose VLSI over AMD many years ago was the fact that AMD seemed to have a proclivity for getting it litigious tit in the ringer (mostly with INTC). Maybe the columnist has an out of work brother-in-law that's a lawyer. In any case, it is a strange way to make an announcement. It sure didn't take long for the rumor to be showing up here on SI.
