Thats true, what is a loser today is likely to be a winner tomorrow if bought for other reasons than hype and fluff posts..
After hours the SP8U is up lightly..
But who the hell cares about that, using the sell into strength theology, the prudent thing to do is sell into it until somthing changes..
I decided not to hit the range today either,it is kinda hot here today, so I will wait.
Might go to the AAA game that we have in town, a farm team of the Twins, so you know they are losers..lol
As for arbitrage, I think there is merit to that..
I think if you use locals who are spirited to their team and then you use a bookie/casino for the other side there are opportunities.. Especially if say you legged into the first side of the position early on in the week, and then finished the position near the end when the rah rah people were in and the line moved..
Example being Denver and Dallas in this market.. they are heavily followed and there is a sports book that has wild swings in Wendover..
When the real season comes in, I will get the lines on a few and give some examples of swing. I wager though that with the multitude of onlin betting opportunities one has the final leg easy to access with a click of a finger..
