if you feel we are going down then sell! I sold most of my holdings during the past 10 days, even most issues and mutual funds in my IRA, and it feels good. the stress and anxiousness are gone(wish I'd sold everything). how did I know? after 9 days of records in the nasd and breaking 2000, we were set for a pull back. as much as i wanted the market to keep going up it simply wasn't going to cooperate. I have watched my assets go up and down the roller coaster too often in the last 18 months to live thru the pain again. however, that being said, this does look like a bottom to me. I sense this market has one more run up left from mid-August to mid-September and then all cash (or GNMAs) 'til January 1999 for me.
