Joseph, I am somewhat in agreement with Clark who posted just behind mine. We really don't know for certain that Beyer left because of Stein nixing an LSI deal. I kind of suspect it's not true since VLSI was up just prior to the LSI deal being announced. It would seem to me that LSI would not have closed another deal so quickly after having the VLSI deal fall apart (had there been one). I also think that there aren't any winners except attorneys in these lawsuits. Still, the last thing I want is another poison pill. These are put in place under the guise of protecting "ahareholder rights." Management says that they want to get shareholders the best value. However, I want to be the one to decide what is good value. I, my friends, and family control roughly 20,000 shares. Count us in for supporting an anti-poison pill lawsuit.
