If enough deep pockets believe AMZN will succeed, then it may happen.

When they make acquisitions, like today, that I cannot fully comprehend, I interpret that to mean that I do not have a full vision of what this company is going to be.

There is another window opening up for insiders to sell, if they so choose. But I am betting, that, like before, there won't be a lot of selling (on a percentage basis).

The bears could be right that AMZN could collapse. But I see a significant risk in shorting the stock insofar as we don't really know management's master plan.

AMZN certainly has succeeded in winning the confidence of a lot of deep pockets with connections. I wonder how much these connections matter. The deep pockets seem content to bankroll a lot of losses.

Betting on Bezos,

Whoever was shorting AMZN as a hedge against overall market declines must be feeling rather angry today.
