* ULTRALIFE BATTERIES INC. is the target of a shareholder lawsuit,
the law firm representing the plaintiffs said. The firm Cohen,
Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll said that it filed the suit in the U.S.
District Court for the District of New Jersey on behalf of buyers
of the stock between April 30 and June 12. "The complaint charges
that Ultralife Batteries, certain officers and directors, and
certain underwriters during the relevant time period violated
various provisions of the federal securities laws in connection
with an offering of 2.5 million shares," the statement said.
