Hello John, Unfortunately, I have your opposite condition that I only know old HP DSO's (and hated them), and know TEK much better. I suspect both are doing the WinScope stuff, but I haven't seen it yet. I think TEK led the way in making DSO's feel like analog scopes, so us old analog guys would use them. I am digital now and will NEVER go back!
As far are Phillips (PHG), I would have expected them to be in 'misc. tech'.
