Actually, isn't that what happened last time we had a bottom? It tanked hard one day, then the next day went lower but recovered later in the day without looking back. If anyone can remember or has access to detailed charts from when we had the last corrections, please let me know if this is accurate. As I understand, much of the latter part of today's sell-off was stops being triggered and primarily done by computers. Since it occurred on high volume, it qualifies as a good ol' fashioned shake out, doesn't it?
