Dan, I think you and I are the only ones who believe that the market will not take 10-15% dive. These 100-point drops and 100-point gains don't really phase me anyomore. The Dow Jones is getting so high that we're only talking about 1 or 2% moves which isn't very volatile at all. I still think that the market is the best way to go if you want to invest in something and I think it will be for many years to come. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that many investors are sitting on huge sums of cash waiting to buy. I recall reading somewhere that one investor, I don't remember the name wanted his assets to be 80% cash. That's ridiculous! I can see having some cash to take advantage of dips, but 80%, he's just losing out. I think the market will continue this rollercoaster, but I think starting January the gains are going to be bigger than the losses.
