Oracle, Don't get me wrong, I'm not feeling great about the market at the moment either. Ignoring any TBR specific news for the moment, TBR should bottom when NYSE does. The question is where is the bottom to the DOW? I still believe that the actual split will generate some excitement, but much depends on the level of TBR and general sentiment when this occurs...who thought the stock would ever be below 110 again? However the fact remains that there is a lot value that was just unleashed. At some point it will be recognized. I still don't think any kind of devaluation is in the cards.

Regarding the puts, fortunately a bunch of 'em (120's) expired worthless last month. Regarding the Octobers, I still feel there's an excellent chance they will expire worthless. Have a lot of room to buy them back and still maintain a profit.

Bought back the AOL puts I sold Friday this morning at about a point profit...phew.
