What are you talking about? According to most "experts" and media, many of us have yet to experience a 10% correction, nor have many gone through a bear market.
As far as the CNBC thing is concerned, these guys should never be allowed to cover financial markets, why? Beasue they run it like they run the main network, NBC, with ratings in mind. What does this mean? They aim for the widest group of audience and the lowest common denominator. Hence, all the graphics, colors,charts, slickness, music and what have you.
Did you ever watch the NBA when CBS use to broadcast it? Although it was no where near the glamor and commericlization that NBC has made the NBA to be, it was still much better because at the end, I felt like I watched a basketball game, which is what I wanted, and not some glitzy show.
