Hi Nancy, Are you still there? You stated that belief in the Big Bang takes a lot of faith, and your post suggested that you don't believe it happened that way.

There are only 2 main possibilities. The Universe always existed, the Steady State Theory, or that it came into existence all at once in a gigantic explosion, the Big Bang.

If you don't accept the Big Bang, then by default you must lean towards the Universe always existing, which doesn't require a Creator, and doesn't mesh with the act of Creation described in the Bible.

Did I read your post wrongly? You need not reply, but I am curious. I lean towards Steady State, by the way, but I wouldn't be upset if the Big Bang was proven beyond a doubt.
