Eric,
I've worked indirectly with Willy on a couple projects. He's always impressed me as a person who was willing to "roll up his sleeves and get the job done." He's worked for several NetWare VP's (Has been a consistent force amid the inconsistency). My first exposure to him was when I sent a document to Richard King for review. Richard had is assistant (Donahoo) do the reviewing.
Anyway, here's some official info I pulled from novell.com
(This URL leads to a RealAudio archive of Donahoo's speech)
