Quote from interview:
"Acampora appeared on CNBC Monday with a more bullish outlook for the year, particularly for blue-chip stocks. A day later, however, he said that Monday's sell-off and other factors, including the poor performance of the small-cap Russell 2000 index, changed his mind."

This chief economist of Prudential Securities predicted 10000 by year-end on Monday, and changed his mind and went bearish today.

Waaaaaa, did the supply and demand curve changed so much in one day to cause this change of mind, or did his inside buddies told him to cause a panic? Did AOL (less affected by foreign operations) and CSCO (very much affected by foregin operations) not make outstanding earnings today??? Gimme a break about economic slowdowns.

Dow down 300 points is not enough to trigger the circuit break, which will be tested sooner or later.
