Celeron 266...overclockable to 400, 4 x 100.........$83
Celeron 300 " 450, 4.5 x 100.......$106
barely ok for apps with need for L2 but good on games if overclocked. Lousey on Corel and Photoshop.

Celeron A-300 128k L2...........................est. $140
Celeron A-333 128k L2...........................est. $190
L2 cache helps apps that need L2, better winstone 98 than Celeron but not as overclockable, still, good on games...other FPU intensive apps.

AMD K6-300............................................$106
good all around chip but no 3DNOW.
AMD K6-2-300...........................................$144
AMD K6-2-333...........................................$225 est $190 soon. 350 in August and 400 by the eoy.
Better Winstone scores than the Celerons and 3DNOW which gives better Quake II scores than the Pentium IIs especially at high resolution.

Cyrix MII-300..........................................$84
Great Business Winstone scores, equal to Pentium II.
So-so gaming chip. Does CAD well despite slow FPU and clock. 400 when NSM gets on line shortly.

With this selection of Sub-$200 chips, tell me that Pentium II sales aren't going to hurt big time.
