Bill Gates -- who is a big-time, long-term, enthusiastic investor in biotechs -- SOLD those Ligand shares long ago, and has never re-purchased.

Henry, I guess Gates is just another "weak hand," who's a little slow to understand the market and our great company. The Ligand business plan is just too complicated for people like Bill Gates to understand.

If only he would spend a little time reading our Breakout Thread and at the "Links to Ligand" website, he could get educated, and make some investments that would make him billions in no time --- a real "slam dunk," as someone around here used to say all the time.

Too bad Gates is wasting his money investing in biotechs that lack the best pipeline in the business, and is totally missing the Ligand opportunity --- with all the promise of its massive off-label drug sales. The poor guy hasn't a clue. What a loser! Our "most famous naysayer" must have misinformed him.
