The Business Week article is a red herring. The options windfall was well known by everyone (except this author, it seems) months in advance. In fact, when the bid for CSC drove CA's price down and jeopardized the gift, the press was saying management was more concerned about the business than the options. This is a great example of really poor journalism; arranging the "facts" to support an invalid premise. Shame on Businessweek! BV
