Hope you do not mind if I jump in. I have a couple questions.

However, this does not disallow the possibility that your soul remembers, while your physical body doesnt.
My questions here are; do you know you are not reconciled yet. by the fact that you are still here? Does that mean there is no telling what you did before? And you said your family love is "special". How does your wife and kid(s) feel about the fact that they probably are not the first you have loved and may not be the last, as family?
Those are really serious, but on a lighter note, since you know I can't resist, you said: The evolution of the soul can be just a snatural and just as wonderful.
What is a snatural? :o)
