<<I would be curious to see if anyone on this thread actually knows AAPL's market share during last 5 years.>>

Yes, Apples market share has been declining.. until recently.

I recall it was somewhere around 3.5 percent last year and recently went up over 4 percent.

With profits increasing and share starting to recover even a little, I belive thses to be good signs.

As stock price goes up, faith will be rekindled in the company and sales will start to flow again as people realize this company is not going down.

Once sales go up and stock price increases, market share follows and again sales will gather in a positive circle.

As hardware and peripherals become sttandardize and people realize it doesn't matter whether you have a Mac or PC to get on the internet and use shared printers and servers, again sales will go up.

When sales and share reach a certain level, developers will provide stronger support and add to the bandwagon.

These are all related again to those Mac Advantages. If the Mac did not have these ease of use features, people would have given up long ago and Apple would be where Wang and Osborne are today.
