I did not mean to imply that Coke was a commodity. By its very nature of being unique in taste it is not. I was simply refering to the speed and relaitively low cost at which coke is produced.

DELL today uses employees to assmeble its plastic boxes. That will change as automation becomes the primary manufacturer. DELL will be forced to spend large amts on capital equipment (much like the chip makers) in order to compete w/ CPQ's and IBM's fabs. Prices will drop, etc.

That's all I meant. Feel free to come back to the bear cave any time.
