"Changes in the economy mean additional opportunities for CGI" This is a paraphrase of what Serge Godin replied at the AGM when asked how CGI would do if there were to be a major downturn in the Canadian economy. The basis for his reply was that when times are tough, organizations have additional pressures to cut costs and increase efficiencies and competitiveness. Precisely where CGI services have proven themselves repeatedly, as a 100% outsourcing contract renewal rate will attest. Words to retain in turbulent times.
