There was a very large TICK swing of 1050 points which brought the DOW down about 70 points off its highs, however the DOWN-MOMENTUM reading was on .60. With normal large TICK swings the reading should have been much higher and should have been closer to 1.0; therefore I am concluding that the DOWN-MOMENTUM was not as strong as the 70 point decline appeared on the surface.

The UP-MOMENTUM reading is at .55 and rising slightly.
