JPR: We'll just have to grin and bear it for the time being until investors come to their senses. As for the price cut I saw an earlier news release where they mentioned the price cuts are mostly for PCs with Intel MMX chips this tell me they just want to get rid of these and I don't think there is great erosion in margin though the ASP might be lower for all PC makers.I believe people are making too much of ASP. Notice low component costs plus increased efficiency equate to lower ASP and not necessarily low profit margins, besides we will soon find out the real story like on Aug.18th.

PS:Oh BTW Dell's pc prices are higher than most pc makers if not all of them and their price cut is not nearly as high as the other guys who are chocking on their own old inventory which DELL doesn't have.Dell inventory turn is 7 days or lower as opposed to 4 to 10 weeks for the other guys.
