BO and Microsoft

BO (Bearded One), Microsoft says, in effect, that BO (Back Orifice) is NOT something to worry about. That surely means that they are right on top of the situation.

This can not be some kind of surprise. Presumably, there have been rumors out for quite some time and there are no new security problems involved.

We may confidently expect that Microsoft is, or at least should be, fully aware of the implications of the known design peculiarities of its own products.

How specific a response do you expect?

Hal
