Every telecom equipment maker is becoming a datacomm equipment maker. What happens to CSCO's P/E as all the rest make the switch? (got net, got pun?)

I disagree with the ChrisMeister's analysis. There's growth to maturity. Companies with high P/Es do not keep them over their lifetime. They get high P/Es during the high growth phase, then lower P/Es as they and the industry mature. CSCO is executing like a fine precision clock. At this time in world deployment of communication gear CSCO can continue to grow. The question is for how long.
