Cholestrak hasn't appeared on the shelves at our local TARGET yet either. I talked with June Carnegie at Chemtrak about this and she was looking into the matter. I believe the the post J&J distribution details had to be reworked. As far as sales go, I have noticed Cholestrak sell out routinely at our local market, Giant. The company apparently decided to order conservatively until it had a better handle on turnover. As an investor I thought is wise to try the kit. It's a snap to use. The only negative is the lancet. I spoke with Chemtrak about it and, based on similar feedback, they will be outfitting the kits with a much improved device in 1st quarter 1997. It will be the same device found in the much anticipated AWARE HIV test kit. Anybody hear any more rumors about CMTR being bought out. I thought it was interesting the Ms. Holzman could/would not comment. It there were no legs to the rumor wouldn't she have just denied it? Bill P.
